Strasbourg, France, home of the European Union, lies just over the German border, from where i stay, 75 klicks south on the A6 and turn left another hour. before St.Valentines Day and age 24, i never considered waking up across from a medieval cathedral and doing circles around such an historic village on bicycles. a canal surrounds older Strasbourg, and just over the east side, a bustling university campus livens the Tram rides in the evening. beside a garden park, planetarium and art museum, our weekend ended flush with plenty of things to help numb the return.
